From the series Ups And Downs (2022 - 2023)
In the series Ups And Downs I use personal experiences as a starting point for an abstract work. I started with a direct translation on paper of my up and down emotions and unrest coming from my private sphere. The use of abstraction is a way of generalizing the personal, the constellations of gracefully ascending and descending lines, and the circular movements refer to my personal circumstances as well as to more general reflections on art and painting itself. (this is an ongoing series)
